Welcome to my Journal…the Remix
Originally, I had wanted to start an anonymous blog. The reasons were, in hindsight, cowardly. This cowardice would have lead me to isolation and to a desolate soul as I wonder among the people I knowwhom I deeply desire to know who I am ,what I am about, and what I struggle withpretending to be someone else. Isolation and desolation would lead to desperation, then secret sins as I indulge my secret self and then in a dramatically public way, true physical and emotional separation and isolation.
Although it had no real form, I struggled with this understanding until this moment. It had been poking at me and demanding attention ever since I considered the idea of an anonymous blog. The reasons why I want to blog still hold true, but the reasons I fear being public still exist. At least the fear does…
Following is the original 1st post to the anonymous blog. Full disclosure I suppose….
Original Post:
This is my place to write my best and worst thoughts and feelings anonymously. I was inspired to start this by a friend who started their own anonymous blog.
Why anonymity?
For my friend, the reasons were beautiful and lofty. The issue (for them) is protecting others and the significant work they do. For me, it is a protection for myself as I blabber about my “secret self”. My ego doesn’t deal well with rejection… If anyone stumbles onto this blog, feel welcome to comment. If you think you know who I am… realize (or at least act like) you don’t…
Why [the nickname] Fuel?
This blog may end up being fuel for attack or fuel for inspiration. It could be fuel for my spirit… or fuel for the fire of Hell as God burns off the dross within my character. Time will tell… perhaps. Read at your own risk… you may die of boredom.
Bonne lecture,
Monsieur D’Flame
I wondered who Fuel was! Good blog. Keep posting, friend! It’s fun to have fellow musers!
Hey friend! Just wanted to stop by your space in the world of the Net. As I mentioned on your wife’s blog – this is such a great way to touch the hearts of people we don’t get to see very often. I am so glad that you are blogging! You have been one of my absolute favorite people almost since the day we met, and I’m glad that I can get a little of your perspective on the world. You’ve got good thoughts and a good heart, mister. (And I’m totally with you on the grey hair issue…I am a big fan of the dye job!)

Take care, Dee Anne
P.S. – click on my alias and stop by my little spot if you get the chance…
